The Connect Charter School was established in 1993 and holds the distinction of being the first and oldest charter school in the state of Colorado. Today, we leverage our knowledge and extensive experience to improve and remain creative. We remain an essential school and we thoroughly enjoy working and learning with our wonderful students. How do I get on the waiting list for enrollment?
Contact us via phone at 719-542-0224, or email our registrar at andreasanchez@connectschool.org.
Once your waitlist application is complete, you can drop it off or mail it to us. Our address is 104 E 7th St, Pueblo, CO 81003.
How are students selected?
Enrollment is first come, first served, taken from the waiting list. Most students are on the waiting list by third grade. Students come from both District 60 and District 70.
What grades are taught?
Grades 6, 7 and 8.
When will we know we are accepted?
In the spring of your student’s fifth grade year. The process begins with a calI in October. Preregistration forms are due by the same month. Registration forms are due in April, with the new student meeting held the first week of May.
Is Connect Charter School a college preparatory school?
Yes. We feature an accelerated pace and curriculum. Students are integrated in grades 6, 7 and 8. We start math at the seventh grade level.
Is there tuition?
No. The Connect Charter School is a public school chartered by District 70.
What are the operating hours of the school?
The school opens at 7:45 a.m. Tutoring starts at 8:00 a.m. Classes start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m. Study hall starts at 4:00 p.m. and the school closes at 4:30 p.m. The school is open four days a week and we follow a set school calendar.
Is transportation provided?
No, parents transport and pick up their students. Carpool numbers can be provided.
